Back in January 2021, Mel as well as our Shower Manager Maribel Villenueva, had the opportunity to be interviewed in person and socially distanced by Kelly Clarkson. Along with members from the Shower of Hope team was Debbie, who had benefited from both our Shower of Hope and Destination Hope programs.
Moving from struggling to find a place to call home, to successfully getting back on her feet and giving back to the Shower of Hope, Debbie is a true success story. The Shower of Hope “treated me like family at a time when I was so ashamed, they gave me the confidence to get back out and face the world”
