The Shower of Hope received a $50,000 grant from the Starbucks Foundation to operate one location for 50 weeks. Thanks to the grant and collaboration with Councilmember Mike Bonin, The Shower of Hope opened a new mobile shower site April 2021 in Westchester Park.
The site intends to serve the unhoused community in the park as well as the surrounding unhoused communities. In addition to the mobile shower units, The Shower of Hope will serve meals as well.
The new site is located at 8740 Lincoln Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90045. The Shower of Hope will be operating the showers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.every Sunday.
